Our core values are to create a school that enables children to: be successful, be healthy and happy, feel included, are nurtured and are enriched. We are ever on the lookout for new, dynamic and exciting ways to meet these values. In Year 5 we are lucky enough to have a Class Dog, Otis, who’s presence does just that
Our curriculum extends beyond the academic. It provides for learners' broader development, enabling them to develop and discover their interests and talents.

Y2’s veg patches has gone from this to this! Nearly ready to plant our parsnip and beetroot plants. We have some budding gardeners in our class! Any other veg/fruit plant donations would be most welcome or even any spare gardening equipment. #Austhorpe https://t.co/DQcyAzJD6e

Today, y5 explored when we would use tenths, hundredths and thousandths in real life. One way we did this was by racing and rounding our times to the nearest tenths and whole numbers. Tomorrow, we will practice ordering decimals by creating a class leaderboard! @austhorpeschool https://t.co/ZTBeibxmlV
