As everybody is aware the school has recently introduced a new packed lunch policy. This is to ensure that packed lunches are as healthy as the school dinners.

As an incentive to have a healthy lunch, the lunchtime ambassadors have been checking all the packed lunches. Anybody with a healthy lunch is given a raffle ticket for the chance to win a prize in the weekly draw.

The lunch time ambassadors are Year 6 students who have been shown what to look for in a healthy lunch.

Those students who are on school dinners are also given the chance to earn a raffle ticket and enter the weekly draw. You can get a raffle ticket by having good table manners, eating with a knife & fork, drinking plenty of water or going to the salad bar.

Each Monday in Miss Lightfoot’s achievement assembly the draw takes place. Miss Lightfoot picks a selection of tickets, the winners are called to the front of the hall where they are given the chance to pick one of the fabulous prizes from Miss Lightfoot’s golden bag.
