They did rock, paper, scissors to see who kicked off. Austhorpe primary won rock, paper, scissors. When both teams were ready, Austhorpe kicked off the game.
After playing 5 minutes the game was 0-0. The striker won the ball in the central area and played a through ball to his team mate, she had a fabulous first touch and she smashed the ball into the ‘top bins’.
1–0 to Austhorpe Primary School then three subs came on.
All Saints were on the attack then a good strike by their striker and ggggooooooaaaallllllllll!
One all at half-time, then All Saints had kick off to start the second half. Their striker had a wonderful first touch and gooooallllll! It was a bottom bin finish. It doesn’t get better than that!
There were five minutes left Austhorpe were trying to look for an equalizer player passed the ball to player and then he shot and scored. What a goal! The ref blew the whistle for full time. The game ended 2-2 a good performance from both sides.
