As we all know, before half-term it was the Queen`s Platinum Jubilee. After 70 years on the throne, we all wanted to do something to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
At school, we celebrated by playing garden games in the playground; having afternoon tea; singing the national anthem to our families in the playground; dressing in red, white and blue.
Our activities started after lunch. We then spent the afternoon playing different lawn games such as mini golf and a speed test to name a few.
Then at 3 o`clock we welcomed our families to school to listen to the whole school sing the National Anthem and Sing by Gary Barlow and the Commonwealth choir.
